Cherry Wine Release!

Introducing the newest release from The Pour Vineyard - Cherry Wine! This wine is fermented to perfection and has a subtle sweetness with a hint of tartness, making it the perfect addition to any gathering.

One of the best ways to enjoy our Cherry Wine is by incorporating it into a delicious recipe. One such recipe we recommend is Cherry Wine Glazed Pork Chops.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Pork chops

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 cup Cherry Wine

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp thyme leaves

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine the cherry wine, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and thyme.

  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

  4. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

  5. Brush the glaze over the pork chops and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.

  6. Serve the pork chops with the remaining glaze on the side.

The combination of the juicy pork chops with the sweet and tangy cherry wine glaze is simply irresistible. The glaze is easy to make and it's perfect to make a meal of a special occasion.

The Cherry Wine also pairs well with chocolate, cheese or roasted meats.
